Virtuous or dippers? The new regional presidents have chosen

More than nine in ten French plébiscitent a strict ban on "dual mandate, comprised of one elected office per person", according to a poll for BFMTV Elabe published Wednesday, December 16.

Yet several regional presidents who will be officially appointed as head of the executive this Friday, December 18, chose to keep another term, sometimes even two. The law on non-accumulation will apply only until 2017 when some benefit!

Some like Philippe Richert, Alsace-Lorraine-Champagne-Ardenne, Marie-Guite Dufay, Burgundy and Franche-Comte, and François Bonneau, in the Loire Valley Centre are not affected, since no position cumulation.
