Geek tip: how to quickly transfer a movie to your iPhone or iPad

You've probably already noticed: most of your videos are not compatible with the iPhone player. Except, of course, all those that have purchased through iTunes, the Apple download platform. Yet there is a simple parade. Here's how.

► Download VLC app for iOS
To start, go through your smartphone in the App Store to download the free VLC for iOS.

► Connect the iPhone to your computer
Once iTunes is open, click the icon symbolized by a miniature iPhone (located on the top left of the window. Then go to the "Apps" menu located in the list that is below (in left).

Then you have scroller at the bottom of the window until you see the "File Sharing" and click "VLC".
